The Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency provides a national focus on asbestos issues which go beyond workplace safety to encompass environmental and public health issues.

On 1 July 2013 the Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency was created in response to the Asbestos Management Review Report – June 2012.

The Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency provides a national focus on asbestos issues which go beyond workplace safety to encompass environmental and public health issues. The Agency administers the National Strategic Plan on Asbestos Awareness and Management and the National Asbestos Exposure Register.
