Hi – my name is Rob Willmett I’m a decedent of the Waanyi people of Western Queensland and the Kuku-Yalanji people in far north Queensland.

I am proud to welcome you to the Department of Employment’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Careers hub and the Indigenous Merit Register!

The Merit Register is a great initiative to get more Indigenous Australian’s into work and is your pathway into the Australian Public Service and the Department of Employment. Our Department is committed to improving employment opportunities for all Australians and ensuring workplaces are productive and safe.

We strive to be leaders in achieving Reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community by supporting the recruitment, retention and career development of our Indigenous employees.
