Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency

The Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency provides a national focus on asbestos issues which go beyond workplace safety to encompass environmental and public health issues.

The agency was created on 1 July 2013 to develop the National Strategic Plan for Asbestos Management and Awareness 2014-18 as well as coordinate, monitor and report on the implementation of this plan.

The Agency also manages the National Asbestos Exposure Register.  If you believe you have been exposed to asbestos-containing materials, you can register your details by completing the online registration form on the bottom of the National Asbestos Exposure Register page.
