The participating country will ensure only eligible candidates are put forward to approved employers for their consideration.
- Good character
- Fit and healthy
- Age (21 years and over)
- Intentions to return to the Participating Country
How to access the Seasonal Worker Programme
There are three pathways a seasonal worker can be recruited through, which are:
- Recruitment from a work-ready pool;
- Recruitment via appointed or licensed Agents; and
- Direct recruitment by employers.
Each participating country chooses which recruitment pathway/s are available to the residents of their country and approved employers. It is important to note that the Australian Government has no direct involvement in the recruitment process so all enquiries in relation to this need to be sent to the nominated countries contact.
