Evaluation of Transition to Work (TtW) Service

The Social Research Centre will be conducting qualitative research with TtW participants, TtW providers and other stakeholders from late October to November 2016. In addition, a Provider Online Survey will be administered by departmental staff from the Evaluation, Research and Evidence Branch, an area which is separate from the TtW program area.

The Department of Employment is conducting an Evaluation of the Transition to Work (TtW) service. A sample of employers, TtW providers, peak bodies and representatives from the Department of Human Services (DHS) will be invited to provide their views and experiences of the service, including any barriers, benefits and challenges. 

The Department has appointed Social Research Centre to conduct semi-structured interviews with employers, some TtW providers, peak bodies and DHS representatives. Focus group discussions will be conducted with TtW participants. In addition, a Provider Online Survey will be administered by departmental staff from the Evaluation, Research and Evidence Branch, an area which is separate from the TtW program area.

If Social Research Centre or the Department contacts you, we encourage you to participate in the research. The information you provide will help the Department to learn more about your experience with TtW and ways to improve its service.

Your personal information is protected by law, including the Privacy Act 1988. All information that TtW participants provide as part of this research is confidential and will be used for research and evaluation purposes only. Participation in this research is voluntary and will not affect any government assistance or income support you receive.
