The Fair Entitlements Guarantee Scheme is now administered by the Attorney‑General’s Department as a result of the Administrative Arrangements Order introduced on 29 May 2019.

FEG Recovery Program

A program designed to strengthen the recovery of amounts advanced under the Fair Entitlement Guarantee (FEG) scheme.

On 19 December 2016, the Commonwealth Government announced that the pilot Fair Entitlements Guarantee Recovery (FEG) Program has been made ongoing with expanded funding from 1 January 2017.

Under the ongoing program, liquidators of companies and trustees in bankruptcy (where FEG advances have been made) can continue to apply for funding for the purposes of pursuing recovery proceedings including litigation, and other activities, to increase assets available to creditors in the winding up or bankruptcy process.
