Each of the 15 small businesses selected to be Digital Champions will be guided through their transformation by a personal Digital Mentor. These mentors are high-profile innovators and leaders, known for their success in digital innovation. The mentors will have leveraged technology to build their own success, and are in a position to share their lessons learned with a Digital Champion and the broader small business audience of Australia.

Ron has significant experience in the global technology and innovation industry and has held senior leadership and executive roles in organisations such as Microsoft, Telstra and IBM, as well as directorships in several organisations.

Passionate about driving impact and developing strong relationships, Justine Kyle Yao, joined Google as a Digital Consultant aimed at advising SMEs into driving transformational change across their digital advertising and marketing channels. Previously, she worked as Project Manager at IBM, focusing on business agile transformations.
Dr Sam Prince

Joe is from a large Darwin Indigenous family (Adams) with Traditional Owner links to the Northern Territory and Queensland Cape York (Wuthithi). He has led a number of transactions for companies including strategy, capital raising, resource negotiation and private equity investment. Previously held positions for over 10 years at Carnegie Wylie investment bank and Woodside Petroleum. Key interests include Digital Transformation, Indigenous impact advisory and Gluten-Free craft beer, O'Briens. Jason Robinson is co-founder and Director of RBK Advisory, an accounting and business advisory firm. RBK Advisory was the winner of the 2018 Xero Accounting Partner of the year, and Jason the winner of the Young Finance Leaders 2018 Accountant of the Year.
Jason Romney is currently Telstra’s Head of Smart Precincts with a focus on the Internet of Things and smart cities. He was previously Telstra's Head of Technology Innovation and Executive Business Manager. Jason is a Barrister (at the Victorian Bar) and digital strategy consultant, working previously for companies such as Cisco, Microsoft and Fairfax.
Marcus Wilson is the CEO and Founder of Surgical Partners. He holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Commerce, an MBA from INSEAD, and is passionate about implementing technology-based solutions for the complex challenges facing healthcare practices. Marcus is a former healthcare analyst at Macquarie Group and Chief Financial Officer at Focus Eye Centre.
Emma Shipley is a Partner Manager for the ANZ Global Business Group at Facebook. Prior to Facebook, Emma was the General Manager of the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. Emma has also undertaken planning roles within media agencies in both Sydney and Australia.
