If you’ve recently been retrenched the department has a range of resources and initiatives to help you understand your entitlements, and to help you find and prepare for your next job or career.  

If you live in the Adelaide, Mandurah, North Queensland, North/North-West Tasmania and Melbourne North/West region and have recently been retrenched or are facing redundancy you may be eligible to receive additional support to transition into your next job, under the Stronger Transition package.

If you’ve recently been retrenched the Redundancy Information Statement can help you understand your rights, entitlements and the support services available. Knowing this information can help you plan your transition into new employment.
