  • I don’t have a secondary school certificate or other qualification

Australian Apprenticeships, also referred to as apprenticeships or traineeships, are a great way for you to start a career or build on your existing one.

The Australian Apprenticeships Pathways website will provide you with information if you are considering an apprenticeship or traineeship.

You don’t need a secondary school certificate or any other qualification to be able to do an apprenticeship – they are available to anyone of working age.

You can combine time at work and earning an income, with training and studying for your chosen occupation.

When you finish your Australian Apprenticeship, you’ll have a nationally recognised qualification that can take you anywhere in Australia and one that is held in high regard in many overseas countries as well.

You may also be able to apply for Trade Support Loans to meet everyday costs while doing your apprenticeship.
