Information for media

The Australian Government Department of Employment is pleased to invite members of the media to register to attend the G20 Labour and Employment Ministerial Meeting (LEMM) in Melbourne, Australia on 10-11 September 2014.

Registration is now open via the link below. Please read the registration details carefully and take note of the required supporting material for your application.

Upon completion of registration, a Media Administrative Circular will be sent to your nominated email address with extra information and important details about the meeting.

Media Registration

All media will need to register to attend the LEMM. Only registered media will have full access to the official LEMM Media Centre and official LEMM events.

Media identification passes must be worn at all times during the event and media will be escorted to and from press conference rooms, media interview rooms and within the host venue.

Use of personal information

Personal information will be collected and recorded for the purposes of registration, liaison and logistical activities relating to the G20 Labour and Employment Ministers Meeting in Melbourne.

The information may be used by various Australian Government agencies, their contractors and state/territory police as required for these purposes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Australian Information Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988. For further details please see the Privacy Statement below.

The Australian Government Department of Employment G20 Taskforce is not responsible for Visa applications. International media are required to apply for a visa to enter Australia. Applications and information on visas can be found on the Immigration website.
