Restart - help to employ mature workers

The Restart wage subsidy is designed to help employers hire eligible mature age job seekers who are 50 years of age and over.

Employers can receive up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) over 12 months if they employ eligible mature age job seekers. From 1 January 2017 all wage subsidies are being improved, further information on the changes can be found on the wage subsidies page

Restart advertising campaign

To encourage take up of the Restart wage subsidy and get more mature age job seekers into work the Department of Employment launched the Restart communications campaign in 2014. Campaign materials can be found on the restart campaign page
