Seasonal Work Incentives Trial Research

In collaboration with the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business, the Department of Social Services has engaged Whereto Research to conduct an evaluation of the Seasonal Work Incentives Trial. The project seeks to gather the views and experiences of eligible job seekers, employers and providers in and around horticultural areas across Australia.

The research will consist of telephone surveys of job seekers and employers, and an online survey of employment service provider staff. Some in depth interviews will also be conducted. The fieldwork will be conducted in November 2018 and February 2019 by Whereto Research in relevant locations around Australia.

Information given by research participants will be used for research and evaluation purposes only. Individuals and employment service provider organisations participating in this research will not be identified in any reporting. Participation in the research is voluntary, and for job seekers will not impact on any government support they may be receiving or may receive in the future.

If you would like more information you can call the National Customer Service Hotline on 1800 805 260 with any questions you may have about the research.
