VET FEE-HELP Grandfathering – concludes 31 December 2018.

Access to VET FEE-HELP will close on 31 December 2018. This means VET FEE-HELP will not be available for units of study with a census date after 31 December 2018.

Providers may receive requests from students seeking alternative options for payment of tuition fees, including accessing a VET Student Loan.

Providers should:

    • consider the ability of a student to transition to the same (or similar) course with access to VET Student Loans
    • discuss with students alternative arrangements for paying their tuition fees
    • consider your organisation's capacity to teach out these students who are unable to transition to a VET Student Loans approved course.

Further details are available in the factsheet: VET FEE-HELP Grandfathering concludes – information for providers.

Providers may also want to visit the information for students on the Tuition Assurance and Provider Closures page to help assist students with any questions.
